There are no monthly subscription fees, registration is free which includes a number of free test credits to test to the mobile number you have registered your WinSMS account with.

The length of a standard SMS is 160 characters (taking into account the symbols that count as 2 characters. For more information on symbols that count as 2 characters, click here.). WinSMS supports long messages up to 918 characters, which is equivalent to six concatenated standard SMS’s. Each message part is billed according to you will be sending your message to. 

For example: 

If you have registered a WinSMS account from South Africa and you will be sending messages within the country, 1 SMS credit = 1 SMS message to SA Networks. 

Sending a message from South Africa to Germany: 4 SMS credits = 1 SMS message to EU Networks. 

If you have registered a WinSMS account from the United States of America (USA) and you will be sending messages within the country, 2 SMS credits = 1 SMS message to USA Networks.
